Naptime blanket. Design and pattern are my own. In retrospect:
+ big and fluffy
+ super cute
- different stitches with different tension make the blanket curl up or be tighter in some areas than others.
- hearts and font make the blanket more stiff

There is a smaller baby version of this too!

Large 50 by 30 inch blanket. Main color is cream white with a big bulky fluffy yarn, second color is a dark forest green. The pattern of the blanket from bottom to top:
1. Herringbone pattern
2. Heart pattern in which there are bobbles worked into the rounds to create 4 hearts on the front of the blanket.
3. Nap Time pattern in which the bobbles are now used to spell out the words "NAP TIME" in all caps. The Nap Time pattern is also separated through one dark green line from the rest of the blanket (above and below the pattern) with a few rows of herringbone pattern above.
4. Sheep pasture pattern. The color is now dark forest green and the bobbles are in the bottom and top row. In between there are 4 trees created through bobbles to give the impression of trees on the blanket. In the center are 4 crocheted white sheep on the blanket (worked as tapestry)
5. Above the pasture is another repetition of the heart pattern and the blanket ends with another repetition of the herringbone pattern.
The blanket has a dark forest green border crocheted all around it.

Pumpkin Spice Sweater. Pattern is my own design.
In retrospect:
+ love the colors
+ love the tapestry
- requires a lot of yarn and patience

It is my favorite thing I've ever designed and crocheted! So comfy and the pattern is adjustable to all body types :)

Pumpkin Spice Sweater. It is worked with a Gingham pattern in orange, yellow and cream. The ribbing (collar, sleeves, bodice) are in a light green. The right sleeve has pumpkins as bobble stitches worked in one row, between the Gingham pattern. There's a big tapestry crochet across the chest section with pumpkins in orange and yellow that have a brown thick stem and connected through light green vines and leaves. The background of the tapestry is in cream.

Ren faire outfit. Pattern is an amalgamation of patterns from Youtube and my own design and ideas.
+ Very cute
+ Recycled some old yarn
+ Recycled some old pants
- Took months to finish
- Garters with wrong measurement for legs and button holes so I had to remove them later on.

Ren faire outfit: A dark blue crocheted corset with white flowers at the base of the straps, the straps then cross in the back. The front is tied shut with a thick rope looking like thread. There's cream colored lace ruffled at the bottom around the entire corset. Light brown pants that were upcycled to receive white lace at the bottom. Dark blue garters with pearls embroidered on top and big white flowers in the middle where the straps meet (one set of straps goes around the leg, another one is attached to the brown pants). Crocheted monstera leaves in light green and dark green are attached to the brown pants.

Heart cardigan. Pattern from Youtube. In retrospect:
+ cute
+ fits well
- 100% cotton yarn (gets very stiff after washing)
- took a lot of sewing (and I messed up the button placement)

Crocheted granny squares with hearts in the middle. There are 3 colors used: cream, brown and green. Every color is paired with another to create six different pattern versions, like for example green heart and cream square around it or brown heart and cream square around it. This picture shows all six possibilities.

Fininshed heart cardigan. The squares were sewn together to create a cardigan. The bottom ribbing is in green, the collar ribbing is in cream and the sleeves ribbing is in brown. The collar ribbing also has 4 buttons sewn on. The cardigan is flat on a wooden surface.

Strawberry bandana. Pattern from Youtube. In retrospect:
+ super cute
+ perfect yarn (fingering weight) so it is not bulky
- took forever with thin yarn

flat strawberry triangle bandana. It is white with lace weight yarn, worked in squares. each square has a red strawberry with green leaves and yellow seeds on it. Six triangles create the head border to even out the zig-zag look of all the squares sewed together. Small white straps to tie the bandana around the head.

Unblocked versions of different crochet lace I was trying before I gave up. It's so much work lol

Work in progress of white yeart shaped lace edging with a tiny red crochet hook. Two hearts were crocheted, the rest of the base and foundation is left unfinished.

Crocheted flower lace border. It has a base and a top connecting each flower. Each flower has two leaves that are also connecting the flowers to one another and one big flower head that looks similar to daisies.

Cat crochet hook case for myself. Pattern is an amalgamation of different Youtube Tutorials (for shapes). In retrospect:
+ cute
- looks uneven with hooks and tools inside
- not spacious enough for all tools and hooks
- hooks and tools may fall through the top

- wrong yarn (too flimsy for basket)

Round crocheted coasters that have a cream center and bright green borders that look like succulent leaves. There's a crocheted basket with cream bows decorating it. The coasters are put into the basket to make it look like a pot with succulents in it.

This lemon pouch was my first attempt at crocheting something. I needed a pouch for Renaissance Faire. Pattern from Youtube. In retrospect:
+ spacious
+ cute lemon
- flimsy straps
- wrong yarn

Crocheted lemon pouch with light pastel yellow yarn and dark green straps. Pouch is drawstring with dark green and crocheted leaves attached to make it look like lemon leaves. Phone for scale next to it. It measures slightly smaller than the pouch, indicating that a regular smartphone can fit the pouch.

Die Maus Truhe in question:

A small metal box with light green and dark green stripes incorporating "Die Maus", as well as the small blue elephant and the duck from "Die Sendung mit der Maus" (a German kids show for learning). It displays a picture with the trio at a Christmas market with decorated Christmas trees and snow. The side panels have "Die Maus" together with friends, gifts, decorated Christmas trees and little white stars symbolizing snow flakes. The metal box is meant for German ginger bread but is often used as a cookie jar or cookie box later.

My husband took me to a nearby cat cafe a while ago because I was sad and missed my cat. So, he surprised me with a little trip to go play with some kittens 😍 (we cannot adopt yet, but once I am allowed to work here, we want to look into it more seriously)
Honestly one of the best surprises ever.
