Can't say with 100% certainty that I have but Alberta & BC have 1st class distilleries. Vancouver Island has an ever-growing number of small batch distilleries that make world class single malts & gins. Which makes it really easy to boycott American spirits.

A couple of distilleries closing down do not make up for the closure of lumber and steel mills here in Canada due to illegal sectoral tariffs. Let's hope that starts turning around with new trade deals abroad.

China is primed to invade Taiwan as the US has pulled a good chunk of their fleet to pirate Venezuela's ships and Russia is not really going to settle for a part of the Ukraine but all of it. We, as Canadians, need to be ready for anything that top 3 superpowers might throw at us.

Second and third book was a chore to get through. I can't say that I enjoyed reading the series. I am interested in how they will do the Netflix series though.
