Flamingo dragon color tests. I’m playing with the limited pinks available in the Luminance line of colored pencils. It’s a great exercise!
Colored pencil drawings of pink flamingo dragons in a sketchbook spread.

Does anyone else compulsively say “hrududududu” when a particularly noisome vehicle drives by? Or just me?

I gotta have some levity for the dark and difficult times. 💙 I hope your experience was as helpful as mine was.

"Intertidal", the trapped and mirrored self—the anxious oscillating energies of apathy and panic.
The scene is Split View with a line of churninh water dividing the composition in half. Two wolves, one above water, the other below, appear to be fighting. The face of the wolf above water is hidden, only an ear is visible and the rest of the face is buried in, possibly sinking into, the opposing wolf. The underwater wolf is clearly agitated and struggling against the weight pressing him beneath water, keeping him from lifesaving aid. His teeth flash and eyes flash in a snarl, his features surrounded by frothing bubbles.

All right, everyone can just calm down now! Coyote with a knife is here!
A loose pencil drawing of a coyote anthro wearing loose draping clothes and a satchel, one hand raise in a placating “calm down” gesture, the other hand holds a knife behind at his side. His expression is aggressively exacerbated—ears side ways, brows furrowed, mouth agape with excessive confidence.

One of my first batches of incense had powdered rose petals in the blend. Somehow, pink pigment migrated to the tips of the cones as they cured.

I don’t know how that happened, and I haven’t been able to duplicate it since.
Chunky incense cones with pinkish tips on a sunlit cherry desk. Small gemstones are scattered above the incense.

This is how my husband reacts when I threaten to tickle him.
Two panel comic of a coyote. The top panel coyote is in an assertive stance, head lowered and front paws spread wider than the hind legs. The hackles are raisedc the tail is aloft, and a slight snarling curl to the lips. “RRRRrr Don’t make HUNCHIE SNARL!! I’ll DO it!!!”

The lower panel features the coyote in full threat display, scientifically known as the “hunchie snarl”. The back is arched with fur standing on end, tail tucked. the coyotes face is contorted with wall eyes, airplane ears, and an open mouth snarl “WAAUUGH!!”

Yeah! I chose the Kamvas Pro 27 4k and have it on an arm so it’s pushed against the wall when not in use. I love the hotkey pad that came with the tablet.
A bamboo desk with a laptop, drawing tablet, monitor, and other items strewn across it in sunlight by a window with houseplants. A chair with a sheepskin and blanket and mess of wires can also be seen. I looked at the wrinkles on the necks/jaws of yawning hairless cats to inspire the folds for my Cyonosaurus. There’s no clear fossil evidence for skin texture: what do you do for something that’s not a reptile & not a mammal? I gave it a coarse skin texture w/a stamp I made from a cool pebbly leaf!

I managed for find some nice brushes to emulate the painterly look, the round mixer brush works well.

CSP is great, I’m enjoying it a lot. I also love procreates brush engine and some of its workflow.
