I think the bigger issue is that we're valuing labor solely on the value it provides the company. We should also be valuing the time that it takes away from the employee. Someone who works full time should be compensated at a level similar to cost of living.

This is really the big takeaway. The difference between watching a lecture and thinking you got the correct points vs being able to ask questions and test your knowledge, and gain different perspectives from other students in is huge.

You obviously didn't major in History. My college had whole courses dedicated to scrutinizing sources and discovering bias. Every lecture had sources sited so you could investigate conclusions made. Simply paying attention would even show that labeling modern progressives as liberal is incorrect.
