Have you considered that you are the one in the wrong. That supporting someone who platforms fascists should be a deal breaker for the Dems. That letting women determine their treatment rather than insurance companies is a good thing.

Nothing was amended in the senate bill. Maybe he was counting on Thune putting in a poison pill that would have forced Democrats to vote no on the bill. Also if anything was changed in the Senate's version it would have had to go back to the House for a debate and Johnson could have stalled longer.

He had conspirators ready to kill Johnson(Lincoln's VP) and Seward(Lincoln's Secretary of State), but on the night of the plot the would be assassin of Johnson got cold feet and went to a bar, and the one trying to kill Seward missed and got his knife stuck in a neck brace.

Humans can't produce new eggs after being born so you can't really say women are humans "born with egg-producing equipment". And why not take it one step farther since sperm are required for the creation of the uterus. All humans are now women since testes become "egg-producing equipment" too.
