Putting Stranger Things on the same list as Game of Thrones feels, somehow, wrong. I mean, it has issues and could have been done better, but I think it came out okay in the end. Flawed, but enjoyable.

I suppose. I generally find people who come off as smug to actually be counter-productive because it pisses people off and doesn't invite people to be part of the cause, but I otherwise agree.

Okay, they lost the GotY at the Indie Awards (which is nothing compared the Geoff show) which was then given to Blue Prince which *gasp* also used GenAI. You are free to disagree all you want, that's your right, but saying "cope harder" is fucking cringe and you should be embarrassed.

None of the GotY awards were taken away, far as I'm aware. It was just disqualified from winning any Indie awards. And yeah, Pat is going to glaze it because it's a genuinely fantastic game despite the AI use. Saying otherwise is stupid, which is why he is saying to pirate it at this point.

It doesn't matter? Like, if someone had found out around the time the game released, maybe. But at this point, the damage is fucking done on E33. Can't unspend the dollars, can't unwin every award. Anyone who is like "Pat's a hypocrite for glazing E33" is just using hindsight 20/20 vision.
