Hardly. But I moved here knowing it wasn't as bad as Vancouver, and that was enough. Things are changing however.

As a child of wintry Quebec the cold does not scare me. This is why the good lord gave us long johns. Sun will always be more important than temperature.

I just read this to my personal trainer husband and he said, 'Oh yeah, and then excitedly showed me a bunch of Klokov videos'.

My favourite is Alice Kaplan's The Collaborator, about a Nazi purge court case after WWII. @sarahhorowitz.bsky.social's Red Widow is also amazing.

To be fair, that's sort of how it was in St. Louis. I could ski maybe once a year and I had to get out first thing before the snow slushed up.

I foolishly moved my cross country kit over here. It has been sitting untouched in the attic ever since. Every time I see the skis I think, 'What were you thinking Venus?'

I should add: For those not yet watching Heated Rivalry, he is half of the smokin' hot romance.

Well hot diggity. With an endorsement like that I'll be adding it to our gender history methods reading list!

Lol. No, not exactly. They're all a-holes.
