I don't see another way at this point. Trump's power has been allowed to progress to the point where he will simply ignore any admonitions from Congress or the Courts. At this point there is no guarantee that fair mid-term elections will even be allowed in 2026.

I'm suggesting a series of increasingly effective general strikes, mass demonstrations and acts of civil disobedience. Sadly, to defeat Trump and his lawless minions, some of us may have to go to jail, some of us may suffer physical harm, and yes, some may lose their lives.

Despite what Congress might do or what the Courts might rule, there is no mechanism available to enforce anything against a tyrant like Trump. We must bring the government and the economy to a full stop.

You must stop the Coup D'état currently underway. Yes, it's a Coup and Democrats must lead the opposition to the destruction of our freedom and our constitution. An insurrection (ala January 6th) would make it easy for Trump to invoke the Insurrection Act and squash the opposition.
