To all those who voted for him despite knowing his plan, thinking it will only apply to black & brown-skinned babies, think again kiddos. If the Trump Administration is allowed to pick & choose who the 14th applies to, anyone can be declined citizenship-possibly even people born here many years ago.
“Ending birthright citizenship” is just another way to say “suspending the Constitution”

Their shopping for their Jack boots as we sleep.
Americans overwhelmingly opposed this.

He did it because he wants to send a signal to far-right domestic extremists all over the country that he will soon call on them to again commit violence to keep him in power—and if they do so well enough, they will face no consequences.

The message is clear.

This is so disgustingly grotesque. As he frees the insurrectionists, to "stand back and stand by" at the ready to carry out yet more violence whenever and wherever direction by the Huckster. Or should we be using the likely preferred "Furher"?
Trump just pardoned every January 6th criminal. Even the violent ones.

I'm sick to my stomach.

So, you think that you're a citizen of the United States because you were born here? Not so fast. Apparently, one of his very first acts through Executive order is to violate the 14th Amendment to the Constitution by voiding automatic recognition of birthright citizenship as threatened.
Birthright Citizenship Defined America. Trump Wants to Redefine It.
The 14th Amendment made the U.S. a place where every child was born equal under the law. That might be about to change.

Our first "letter to the editor" should be on the media's responsibility to stand up and speak truth - even to, no, especially to unbridled power.
As Donald Trump is inaugurated a second time, independent media organizations are faced with urgent mandates: Tell the truth more loudly than ever before.
A Call to Media Organizations: Don’t Back Down in the Face of Trump’s Threats
Trump’s attacks on press freedom aren’t separate from his attacks on oppressed communities. We must resist them all.

Yes. What he said.
The inverted flag isn’t disrespect — it’s a distress signal from naval traditions, used to show grave danger to life or property.

With a lawless man set to take power after attempting to overthrow the government, America is in extreme danger.

That’s why I’m posting it today.
