It appears the MRG money has run out for Volaris’ McAllen (MFE) to Cancun (CUN) route. All flights removed starting in October.

Monthly load factors were reported as low as 11% on the route.

The region will still have seasonal CUN flights via Sun Country out of Harlingen (HRL).

Avelo has elected to close its Burbank (BUR) operation early, removing all flights starting in late-October.

The earlier than previously announced exit includes BUR-ACV/EUG/MFR/PSC/RDM.

Canadian carrier capacity continues to fall in the U.S. with Porter Airlines trimming capacity in November and December. December capacity has now turned negative for Porter.
