Bruh, that's so whip wapperly baloney
their stupid anti-consumer decisions. We should all be talking about how great this system is, not be angry because nintendos stupidity. I'm still going to be a nintendo fan, but I don't want to see nintendo take self-inflicted Ls anymore. I'm sick and tired of it.

to play the game we paid for, how we want.

This launch should have been a W streak for nintendo. They made the console we wanted, new mariokart, new donkey kong and decently powerful hardware. But I'm tired of nintendo shooting themselves in the foot and causing more divide in the community with

privilege to use a mobile app.

Just recently, they patched mariokart world to force players to play on intermission races even if they don't want to, and I feel like this is just salt in the wound here. It's emblematic of nintendos policy of not listening and screwing fans over, because we want

for the switch 2 edition, WITHOUT THE DLC. If you want the complete experience, you need to spend $90 if you don't already own the game and it's dlc. An 8 year old game everyone. At least with last of us part 1, they significantly improved the graphics. This is just nicer frame rates and the

are expected to be bundled in with the system, not charged $10.

I will not give grace on the switch 2 editions. Some of these games that have switch 2 editions are up to 8 years old. So why on God's green earth is nintebdo charging MORE THAN THEY WERE BRAND NEW! Botw in particular, is charging $70

use key cards because it's to expensive for the publisher. So it's screwing over customers, and publishers. Only nintendo wins.

Welcome tour is the only one I will give nintendo some grace on. They have done worse with 1-2 switch. But this is a post astros playroom world. Experiences like these

And apparently, this issue is squarely on nintendo for only offering 64gb cards, or key cards. Nothing else. It traps 3rd party developers into only going with key cards, because the 64gb cards can be to expensive to use with no other alternatives. Even bravely default, a 3ds game, is forced to

The issue of games coming incomplete has plagued the industry for a while now. Earliest example I know of being destiny 1. So why is nintendo choosing to continue this stupid practice. What is this obsession for pegging the customer, and taking away consumer rights to own their stuff?
July 7, 2025 at 1:59 AM
this was a good decision? Why should the consumer "respect the value" when you are actively screwing us over. Where is nintendos community manager? Their PR department? Is it just a desert with an infant leading it? Congratulations nintendo, you somehow made EA of all people look good.

We were all incredibly angry about it back then, and still are, but $70 was becoming normal. All of a sudden nintendo comes in and charges $80 for mariokart, setting a new precedent for game pricing. And guess what? Xbox followed NOT EVEN A MONTH LATER. Who in their right mind ever thought that

cards, $10 welcome tour, switch 2 editions of old games costing as much as $80, not including the dlc for botw when it's still being sold for full price. Nintendo had been bad before, but not to this extreme.

In 2020, NBA 2k21 became the first triple a game to raise its price from $60 to $70.

direct on April 2. Honestly, a great direct. Revealed a new mario kart, new kirby air riders, new donkey kong game and a lot of technical capabilities of the switch 2. We were all on cloud 9 during the direct. Then nintendo kicked us all in the balls after the show ended. $80 price tag, game key

really well, alongside producing some of the best nintendo has ever made in that generation. Switch 1 so far has sold over 150 million consoles. Nintendo had all the good press, all of the hype for the switch successor, and an incredibly bright future ahead. So, it all builds up to the switch 2

wanted. Just a more powerful switch, with the game output of the previous generation. The switch 1 generation, despite major hiccups like joy con drift, was a slam dunk for nintendo. They had created what is essentially a flawless concept for a video game console that was so versatile and worked
