When you're an activist, it's expected that you're not going to be liked. No activist was ever liked during their time. It was only later that they were looked back on with fondness once the court of public opinion changed on whatever the societal matter was. #Vegan #AnimalRights

Awww Thank you so much! It was absolutely delicious and pretty easy to make :-) a bag of frozen broccoli florets, a bag of Beyond steak bites, some stir fry sauce (since broccoli beef seasoning is not vegan). And I added some mushrooms (because I like them), stir fry together and voila! 😁

Today on cooking with CJ, broccoli be'f (using Impossible streak bites), over vegetable chow mein, Panda Express orange cauliflower (with nutritional yeast for added protein and b vitamins), baby bok choy with low sodium soy sauce.

#Vegan products arrived today! It sucks that I can't just buy my over-the-counter stuff at a regular grocery store...(Yet)

They don't have much of a taste which is why it's pretty good to put in different recipes. Tomorrow we're going to try to make some chick'n salad sandwiches. They are incredibly soft though, so be very gentle if you're stirring them into something.
