Quilter’s Academy is a great series for improving your quilting skills! I did the project from the first book and learned a lot, even though I had been quilting for some years. One of the techniques was a way of joining blocks to minimize bumpy seams

The fabrics were all from my stash, not purchased to go together, but it came out ok A zoom of the back of my quilt showing the technique from the Quilters Academy where the seams at the center of the four square block twirl around, and are flat when ironed rather than a bulky lump
