Also, now that Arc Radiers has nearly the same 70s/80s inspired scifi look, I feel completely justified in my claims when Concord flopped that it wasn't the aesthetics. It was first and foremost that it was a full price hero shooter when nobody wants a new hero shooter.

The "development cost" is what Sony paid for the studio, not the actual budget.
It tried to barge its way into a genre dominated by Marvel, Blizzard, and Riot games.

So a highly motivated, selective interpretation of the usually cherry picked views of a handful of, teenagers, people online, and a sliver of academics, largely pushed using tactics pretty much identical to the tactics of GamerGate (i.e. "but look what this person on Tumb... I mean Twitter said!")

I'm only unhappy he died because he didn't rot to death in a cell. Ideally one with no windows and a welded shut vault door on it.
