Friendly reminder that this world is being rendered uninhabitable to human life so these water-heads can make a number on a spreadsheet go up while they build child rape dungeons on private islands.

People are never so completely and enthusiastically enslaved as when they are under a false belief that they are free.

Direct action is the logical, consistent method of Anarchism. The opposite of waiting for permission from people who benefit from your obedience

Yeah

Anarchist form of government??!

When anarchists say hierarchies they usually mean hierarchical power structures.

That would be interesting for sure.

I don’t think that free press is possible in our current reality.

Lack of romance can be an interesting feature and make the story more original.

I thought that this is a satire comment. This is just absurdity. Oil supply? Really… It’s sad… it’s just sad.

Yes that way US now has an excuse for military intervention in Iran.

That would be the typical US playbook.

The article is hidden behind a paywall. Especially during the times of crisis on a planetary scale, the fact that such a crucial information is being restricted and that the copyright I.e. profit is more important than the future of our planet is what could be considered a treason of humanity.

[3/3] I agree that psychological effects of such mission is a significant issue. Longterm Isolation, communication delays, probably lack of sunlight, constraint space, environment that actively tries to kill you. That’s going to be a problem. With time and resources the conditions will improve.

[2/3] It’s true that ISS has emergency return capability but that's because it was designed that way. Mars missions will be designed with different redundancies appropriate for deep space. 437 day spaceflight current record shows that humans can endure Mars travel timeframes.
March 9, 2025 at 3:45 AM
[1/3] Travel time can be reduced by nuclear thermal propulsion. Supplies can be sent in advance. Spacecraft can be bigger possibly constructed on moon so we don’t have to worry about aerodynamics and earth gravity. The ISS comparison actually strengthens the case for Mars missions, not weakens it.

Elon could have sent humans to mars already. He is the richest person on earth. I think his only dream is to be even richer.
March 8, 2025 at 4:53 PM
[2/2] Mars is critical for understanding planetary habitability, potential past/present life, and comparative geology. In person exploration enables complex sample collection realtime decision making, and maintenance of sophisticated equipment that robots simply cannot match.
