I think it is important to recognize that these 8 spineless losers and Schumer ( who I'm now utterly convinced engineered this behind the scenes) deserve all the heat they take. But, and I can't believe I'm saying this, I think the Democrats overall deserve respect for the past month.

So it's okay that Reagan's disastrous legacy hollowed out the middle class because general progress makes everyone's life a bit easier overall?

As much as the democratic party makes me want to scream, in this case it's important to remember it's these specific dems who caved. Overall, I'm actually, surprisingly, proud of most of the rest of them for their recent resolve.

This is very true. But there's hardly anyone beyond a few bluesky ranters who are saying we are literally living under a Reich. It sometimes feels like you're dismissing some very valid warning signs for which a lot of perfectly sensible folks get very upset about.
