Greenwashing. This is a classic. Tells people to take action and put in food organics bin yet no FOGO bin service exists that takes these. Worse if it ends up in soft plastic recycling its contamination. In landfill it’s worse than plastic.

I just caught up with the neighbours and they made my day saying I had lost weight. After a stressful day it changed my perspective. Thanks to all the awesome people that focus on making others feel good.

Today I was told that I couldn’t service my mower and knew the fuel jets were probably clogged in the carburettor on the mower and that I needed to pay a professional blah blah I’m female can’t do it comment. Well this is before video will post after with mower running like a dream.

Today’s good deed. Made the effort to take scrap metal to a local drop off trailer that someone leaves near by for scrap. I also picked up a pile of illegally dumped scrap metal and added that to my load.

A day of turning old into new and creating a usable desk for my son. He didn’t fit under the old red desk and I decided today was the day. Reused some bits like the drawers and gave them a lick of paint.

Clean up Australia Day 2025 the big surprise in litter count was the 182 dog poo bags tossed into the bush. Why pick up after your dog and throw the bagged poop in the bush. Seriously people are lazy and nope biodegradable bags are not biodegradable outside of a commercial composting facility.

Illegal dumping - having participated in clean up Australia Day 2025 there is nothing worse than people illegally dumping on your hard work.
