Gay, anti Brexit and anti fascist. 🔶
I'm not a starmie fan, but this is not the same thing lol. Being denied entry to a country because you were critical of it's government (more importantly it's head of state) and being removed from a political party for criticism are totally different

Can someone fill me in on what is happening, i am so confused

That's definitely an attitude everyone should be having. And sadly it is also an attitude not commonly seen

We hold labour to account far better than we do the tories. Accepted behaviour for the tories is a scandal in Labour. Either we hold both to account, or neither.

The issue is that the right is wholly unwilling to hold any of their own MPs to account, while the left eagerly searches for flaws.

This is why it's important for universalism in this stuff. Everybody's lunch needs to be free, no exceptions.

A very simple way to do this is nationalising farming in the UK. Lower food costs, fair wages for farmers, and the ability to better feed those going hungry

Heavily taxing indulgences could just lead to those things becoming more "elite"/layoffs in the firms which provide the indulgences
March 19, 2025 at 10:10 AM
I'm skeptical about heavily taxing indulgences. I think taxing housing based on number of homes owned (if you own 2 houses and rent one out, the 2nd one is taxed at 25% of the rent, increase by 25% for each house owned on ALL houses), and ban corps from owning property outside of offices.

I will do! Any enemy of brexit is a (conditional) friend of mine
March 19, 2025 at 9:35 AM
What?
March 19, 2025 at 8:35 AM
Not just my opinion. Farage believes brexit has failed. Macron believes brexit has failed. The only people holding onto hope that brexit is still a valuable pursuit are the government and roughly 30% of the public
March 19, 2025 at 8:18 AM
Polite and reasonable can still be vile - the tories prove that. With one hand they are polite, diplomatic and rational and with the other they will actively promote the demonisation of trans people and immigrants.

There is no second opinion on brexit, it has failed.

I credit @femi-oluwole.bsky.social for all the arguments. Genuinely a must follow for anyone anti-brexit

Thank you

It has almost been a decade since the referendum. If you don't think opinions can change in the course of a decade, not to mention 10 years of now voters being unrepresented in the biggest policy change of their lifetimes, then you are politically inept

Because we don't want to talk to morons???? We don't like you, go back to twitter

This reply reeks of either willful ignorance or malice. 64% of Britons according to polling would rejoin the EU. Based on pure demographic shift, the UK had a remain voting population in 2019. This country does not believe in brexit. It does not want brexit. Brexit is forced on us.

I’d like to see him rescind his invitation to trump, the one that the smarmy Chamberlain-esque minister delivered to the White House.

It's not just your battle? If we don't collectively stand up to the US it will pick us off. Now is not the time to be nationalist, it is the time to be internationalist and antinationalist.

True. They're a bunch of risk averse cowards.

Is so locked in on "growth at all costs" that they are blinded by it.
