one thing i always thought was funny was how the guy would spend fully 3 paragraphs describing in detail how attractive a squirrel or mouse was and then get mad when furries liked his stuff

thats a pretty accurate description of my own thoughts on it too. i think its one of the reasons why i quickly started leaning towards scifi in middle school. although i have no doubt redwall has something to do with my obsession with and appropriation of christian imagery and themes

it really sucks that such warm and nice stories are corrupted by those racist overtones. i loved them as a kid but i just cant get as much out of them as an adult. they sparked my love of rodents but i had to outgrow them. i still somewhat guiltily enjoy the cartoon though.

we can hopefully have the communism afterwards, and hopefully it wont be too late for the planet

no, dont misrepresent me. what i actually think is that we are a long, long, long way off from any sort of consciousness being replicable in silico and there are more important things to be focusing on right now!

probably dont count on it persevering in siliconic form. lets focus on saving the actual world and the fleshy things in it
