honestly, godot is phenomenal, from what i've learned so far. super intuitive and lots of really good tutorials out there. i'm actually usin' gamedev.tv 's beginner Godot tutorials.

spite is a powerful motivator, it's half the reason i'm learning godot (also hilarious that we're both dipping into gamedev at the same time out of spite).

I WISH! We don't currently have the capability to stream together, since we're both using my hardware at the moment.

My roommate and I ran an Area Server from home for quite awhile; it didn't quite scratch the itch that the PS2 RPGs did, but man was it fun to drag friends along. I yearn for an updated similar game.

The mental image of Fozzie Bear turning to look at the camera and saying "I'M DOING MY PART." is healing.

Heck yeah!! If you have the spoons, I'd also recommend checking out Dungeons & Dragons Online. It runs off of D&D3.5e, and currently has a code that grants DOZENS of free adventure paths (their 'premium' quests).
