I wouldn't say Maduro isn't a bad dude, but the pattern of U.S. intervention in other countries since the 1950's is to try to replace one bad dude with a corrupt bad dude on the U.S. payroll. Watch for which Venezuelan charlatans and conmen are parading to Mar a Lago angling for Trump support.

Americans say they object to military action in other countries but will support it if it appears successful. That is what Trump is counting on.

Don't underestimate how fickle Americans can be. They may oppose military intervention before it happens, but become ardent cheerleaders if it appears to be successful.

I would not rule out military action by Trump. Look at Venezuela.

Ignorance of the Greenlandic people, their needs and desires will not deter the Trump administration.

Note that the report mentioned "covert influence operations" in Greenland. Canada and Panama should also be aware of covert operations occurring in their countries. The U.S. has a long history of covert ops on other countries, including sponsoring coup d'état. Think Venezuela today.

Trump's military attacks on Venezuela to steal their oil should serve as a warning for both Greenland and Canada of his intentions to steal those countries' mineral and oil resources.
