Thanks @neilmilliken.bsky.social @debraruh.bsky.social @axschat.bsky.social for having me and for giving me the space and chance to bring accessibility in gaming to further audiences. Awareness is paramount and I felt privileged to raise it through the podcast and chat #AXSChat

Accessibility is progressing all the time: "Progress over perfection". #AXSChat If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go further, go together. Happy to see the industriy is not moving alone in silos but together.

A6. We provide a realistic approach of players needs. Diverse voices help move forward cause we bring that "think outside the box" mentality. And accessibility is a lot about that: about embracing what is somehow different and at the same time is the missing piece that was the key to make progress.

A5. How games are being navigated, not only through visuals but also haptics and sounds could be the future for smart cities as well. #AXSChat

A4. Player creativity can be expressed through mods. These are changes to the original game by the players. Some of these take accessibility into account but of course, accessibility works best when implemented from scratch with a left-shift approach

A3. Also sharing success with others. We have seen that with the release of Chroma, the colour blind simulation tool, by Ubisoft. Instead of keeping this to themselves, sharing with others has a ripple effect that can only be positive. #AXSChat

A3. Understanding player needs is the first step. What are they currently struggling with? Which barriers are they facing? This feedback can only make the game richer #AXSChat

A2. I really enjoyed how Ubisoft looked into how to make Assessins Creed VR Nexus accessible for gamers who would usually get dizzy because of the VR. How having the tip of the character nose visible would avoid dizziness or how blurring the outter part of the screen would help players focus.

A1. Video games provide a fantastic chance to connect with others that have similar interests to ours: sports, racing, simulation, puzzles... you name it! games allow different types of communication: chat, voice which might be preferred for some more than just the face-to-face interaction #AXSChat
