Y’all, I need to borrow some of your finest knitting mojo. 🧶 Here’s my #rhinebecksweater as of right now - needs a few more inches in the body and something resembling sleeves. I’m still battling a messed up elbow in PT, so what normally would have been easy is going to be a challenge. #knitting
Handknit colorwork sweater in progress. It needs about 5” more on the body and both sleeves.

Thank you! And thanks for the boost too :)

This week I'm using the prompts for #stilltober and painting in watercolor!

Here is a Nicobar pigeon in #watercolor for #stilltober25 prompt "iridescent". Fun fact, this fancy guy is the closest living relative of the dodo.

I had wondered why I kept seeing people saying they only wanted books that smelled like… books

Thank you! You should definitely learn, it is frustrating at first but can be a lot of fun.

I find two-color brioche in the round to be soothing and pleasant to knit.

Instructions for the Sea Fan pattern are provided in written directions as well as a choice of two charts: a traditional brioche chart on a grid, and a StitchMaps chart, a more visual representation of the knitted fabric.

If it's time for a little brioche knitting challenge, I suggest the Sea Fan Cowl.

Organic forms swirl around the circumference of this cowl, while a picot cast on and bind off adds interest and elasticity. It's knit in two shades of fingering weight yarn and I have another one started just for me!

The weather is starting to turn. If you have some DK weight yarn, you can knit the Slackline Mitts!

The pattern is stretchy, quick and simple to work, and gives great dynamic results in both variegated and solid yarns.

It’s occupying a weird space between sinister and tediously mediocre…

On Monday evenings, the Mister Softee truck parks at the end of my driveway. I’m slowly going mad in soft serve jingle increments.

Started PT for a hurt arm. Not the most fun thing, but I’m excited to be on the path to not hurting anymore! 💪🏻

🍐 pear in watercolor from an IG challenge, but I’m happy with its roundness so I’m bringing it over here too.

One of my favorite scarves of all time for #ShowMeYourKnits - this is Hibiscus by Kieran Foley, and there are just two color-changing yarns used here! 🧶 I wear this all the time, when it’s cool enough.

Here's something cool I made recently. This is a mathematically generated 2-color crochet square, developed by @mathgrrl.com for the Granny Life project. I'm excited to potentially contribute to a math/art exhibition! And the squares themselves just look neat. Can't wait to make more!

Thanks! It’s worked from the bottom up, so you just work more rows before starting the v neck shaping (and you’ll need more yarn of course).
