It's sort of based on those two butterflies that briefly appear in the love hotel at the start of P3 Movie 2 before Makoto meets Aigis so yeah you aren't that far off.

Makoto's sheer willpower and his will to protect Aigis after seeing Aigis getting injured is enough to make him carry her as light as a feather.

Kind of like Persona 3's moral,

It's the most prominent theme especially in the second age, The Elves want Immortality (or to preserve some of that in Middle Earth) The King's Men Numenoreans want it

They can postpone fading or decay all they want but in the end ot arrives all the same.

It's these themes that make Tolkien's Mythologies resonate even after years and years.

Stronger, at least that's what i think It's one of the core themes of the whole story,

-Evil cannot create anything new, it can't endure for long
-What Tolkien said about the story being Death and the desire for deathlessness also leads me to believe there's a come to terms to mortality moral there

That richness in morality i believe also makes the story's theme of all races coming together and achieving something no one race could by themselves.
