Don't forget that Meta owns WhatsApp too. Use Signal instead, it has pretty much the same features but is run as a non profit and holds the gold standard in privacy and security 💯

That's great! Did you manage to get your friends away from WhatsApp too? I've got a few that really don't want to move.

Honestly people need to be more outraged about this and leave. There's great alternatives to social media, we have Signal that's far more private than WhatsApp, yet nobody puts their money where their mouth is and actually makes the move. If enough do it, the rest of the sheep will follow.
