🧵 4: If Rockstar goes back to their roots, and GTA6 is more in the vein of 3 or Vice City, I'm down for it, but if it's like 5 with new characters... meh.

🧵 3: Maybe I just didn't get it but when the game was over, I put it down, uninstalled, and walked away. It didn't hook me. The changing between characters was not something I liked at all. So now that things are ramping up again, I'm having trouble getting excited for the game.

🧵 2: I never did play 4 but I was looking forward to it. Children came along and I was delayed but eventually made it to GTA5. I played it through and was surprised that this was the game that the series rode on for a decade because, it was ok, but none of the protagonists were characters I liked.

My hot take re: GTA6, it's been sooo long in between games, that I don't really care anymore. I have a long history with GTA games. I downloaded GTA2 from Limewire and played the hell out of it. I was all in for 3, Vice City, and San Andreas. I tried to play 4 but my PC couldn't handle it. 🧵
