I think it’s the perfect time for them to try and extort us with threats of leaving since they know our governor is ultra sensitive to “doom loop” messaging from business interests right now

With internet connected taxis this can be done virtually. That or the city’s tax on all ride share could increase to compensate for lower pricing.
