I know people don't generally give a rip about these minor things and soccer refereeing is as about as niche as interests get, but this kind of mediocrity just pisses me off. It's just so lazy and irresponsible from somebody who people seem to revere. What a horrible example for other refs.

Just pointing this out... Tori Penso booked Sam Sturridge for UB in the 94th and gave the card to his back. He never knew we had been booked, so then he interefered with a restart 2 minutes later and got sent off for 2Y. Because Penso didn't bother to make sure he knew he'd been booked. #USOpenCup
