I agree, in terms of learning the game, it should be Standard->Pioneer->Modern->Comander. I know there are other formats but in terms of learning cards, mechanics and interactions. I think this is the best order of operations.

Wilds isn’t actually that bad, it has a campaign that you’re running through, where it’s bad trying to get a kid back to his home but discovering something worse happening to the region. Unlike the games before where you had to do multiple quests before advancing the story.
