Also, if Kelly’s retirement payment constitute a retainer as Hegseth is suggesting, allowing him to be prosecuted under military law for actions done as a private citizen, doesn’t that mean Hegseth can be recalled to active duty and charged with adultery?

So, fun fact: the illustrations in the 1st edition of Wizard were actually composed along with text. The artist and Baum later had a falling out and there were actually rival Oz cartoon strips for a while as there were deemed to have shared copy write on the first book.

Therefore, my kids were both put in supplemental reading instruction despite the fact they were reading books above grade level. It’s almost like one size fits all solutions aren’t a great fit for elementary education.

It funny my kids had the exact reverse problem. They can’t learn phonics and had to learn by sight reading. (In retrospect, I realized I have the same issue.) It’s apparently considered a form of dyslexia. The Virginia standardized test requires elementary students to read “nonsense words.”
