Storm Drain keeps Flutter Mane basically immune to its biggest nemesis. Tera Fire + Terablast pairs well with Moonblast offensively, and also utilizes Storm Drain.

Iron Head + Close Combat Urshifu gives it meaningful things to do next to Storm Drain if Giri is locked into Dragon Pulse or Icy Wind.

And so the definition of a “Quinn team” is an anti-meta concept, inspired by some key philosophy of the meta.

Life Orb Glastrier + Helping Hand Dusclops.
Annihilape + Maushold Gholdengo hyper offense.
Sneasler Dragonite + Primarina.
Flutter Torkoal.
Incin Amoonguss Flutter Ursh + Chomp Corv.

You see what Gamefreak/ TPCi puts us through without an official ladder / resources? 😩😤

Ones I can remember so far:

- Regieleki being good in Regulation D-F
- Life Orb, Close Combat Koraidon (actually meta warping).
- Upper Hand + Inner Focus, Tera Normal Weakness Policy Extreme Speed
- Shed Tail + Commander combo.
- Bug Tera in this video.

Probably this… Fairy Amoonguss as a “Raging Bolt counter”. Steel Chomp defensively, particularly into Blood Moon. Dragon Corviknight to resist Surging Strikes and Tera Fairy Thunderclap. Bug Incineroar into Lando Incarnate. Flying Flutter and Water Ursh for Torn Ursh.

I think I like this. Garchomp Corviknight x Support. Ground + Flying good.

Keep Flutter Mane Terablast Flying. Pairs well with both Garchomp and Urshifu. Water + Flying good.

Just unsure about a couple of Tera types. If it’s Garchomp tho, probably Swords Dance.

So I’m reframing the team under the aforementioned premise as of right now, while I wait for the bus home. It *might* be possible. Incin Amoonguss SD Garchomp Corv. Support + Urshifu Flutter for immediate offense. Just need to fashion the offensive pieces carefully.

I am currently considering Swords Dance EQ Rock Slide for Garchomp. It could potentially give my team the added power that it needs to function. Wide Guard is mostly common on Pelipper Rain teams, which aren’t particularly notable in the format. This is just an early theory, though. We’ll see.

On the one hand, this is okay for me, as I have student loans to pay off. No one was aware that I was not scheduled today, honestly 😅. The extra hours I earned today could put me closer to overtime.

Otherwise, this is annoying because I planned for a VR tour on Saturday. It is what it is.

I do like the theory of it. My only issue with it is that it looks pretty much like a Regulation H team. Potentially not enough power 😬
