好久不见朋友们，long time no see friends! To observe spring this year, I thought to update my profile picture from its sitting, Sage-from-Valorant variation to this, Siwen Shan, standing on ceremony, First Bloom, edition.
《桂山畫室•山斯文： 花事》 On the right side are the Chinese characters for "Osmanthus Mountain Studio: Shan Siwen". On the left side are the Chinese characters for the term that is translated as "blooming of flowers", but I loosely translated it as "The First Bloom". In the bottom right of the illustration is my name seal (watermark). All the Chinese characters are in a dark, olive green color. In the background is a faded warm green mountain with an osmanthus tree on top. In the forefront of the image is a chibi-like illustration of my avatar. They have dark brown hair, tied in a top knot, held together by a dark olive green hairpiece with small light green designs towards the inner points and upper points of the hairpiece, representing light green osmanthus flowers. They have brown eyes, slightly yellow skin, and is wearing a muted, light, sage-like green robe with a white collar, and a darker sage-like green sash tied around the waist-line of the avatar. The avatar wears dark, olive green, lightweight loafers for footwear.

A note titled "2025: New Beginnings". The contents read as follow: At the tail end of 2024, I submitted all of my PhD applications. 2024 was about continuing to reconnect with parts of myself, as well as really honing in on what I want to do. This "ended" with taking that leap to apply for these programs. This year is about manifesting that I will start my PhD candidacy in the fall of this year. Along with this, I will be making steady steps forward in the realm of creation. I've solidified this image of my studio and of my community. I will continue drawing Chinese-Inspired illustrations and writing Chinese-inspired poems and stories. Hopefully, some time in the Fall of 2025, I will have what I need to also start video content creation: live streaming and creating videos. We are in the year of new beginnings. Things will start, things will resume... And some things will change and transform and grow. Stay tuned friends and folks! The prologue of Siwen Shan and Osmanthus Mountain Studio is on its last page, and Chapter 1 will begin soon! 💚🌷⛰️
