I couldn't believe the hospital (a university medical center) would ask every surgery patient to sit or stand in an overcrowded small waiting room when I dropped her off for brain surgery a few months ago. They did not even provide masks.

Given that I lived through price controls and rationing during WWII and am looking at climate change (with the refrain of “drill, baby, drill) and have a grandchild and great-step granddaughter, although I don’t argue with your premise, as ex-middle class thanks to trickledown and EXXON Valdez… .

Border Patrol uses most of this authority & more and expanding it to land borders. Biometric info was to be destroyed after a person left the country to prevent establishing a database.
