It’s not ‘talking out’, it’s about trying to make a pig of a bill, workable. A bill that is a profound shift in British law. We rush that at our peril, especially in the absence of any genuine regard for improving palliative and social care. The lords are trying to protect the public from the gov’t.

I imagine MI6 and SIS play the same game. As do the Americans, French, Germans etc. Would be negligent not to. So when the British media talks about China, and ‘regimes’, it can’t hide its racism.

Would love to see one of those U.S strike groups sunk and Israel receive a proper punch on the nose, for the sake of the Middle East. Would love to see the Mullahs strung up alongside them, but it’s not going to happen. Just more forever war and a Shia version of ISIS on western streets.
