The central ideas in the OBBB law — cutting taxes for the wealthy, slashing health and food aid for the poor, pouring enormous amounts of cash into deportation (larger that the entire Russian Military’s budget) and blowing up the federal debt. Is this what voters wanted?

I want to know from Republicans, why is making the wealthy even more wealthy more important than the health care of Americans?

Trump's policies on trade, economy, manufacturing, research, energy, and education feel stuck in the 1950s. His outdated views undermine U.S. innovation and excellence. To make matters worse, he's surrounded by clowns for advisors, compounding the damage. It will take years to recover- if we can.

Trump's tariff policies offer no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow—only long-term devastation for the U.S. economy. The U.S., having designed the framework of global trade, has historically benefited more than other nations. I fail to see any upside to this misguided approach.

The United States has long championed democracy and supported democratic nations. So why are we now aligning with an authoritarian regime against a country striving to maintain its freedom? The Trump administration is betraying the legacy of the veterans who fought in World War II.
