#TransportForLondon, you spent years & millions to redevelop #OldStreet station - was it really impossible to make it more accessible?! Only one lift-and it’s out of order. No option other than steps to get to the ticket hall. Surely in this day & age we should be designing accessible stations.

Good to see #TechSovreignity front and centre at #CoopCongress. The #coop movement needs to be bolder and braver in controlling its own tech. We have the resources. We just need to channel them appropriately.

You just can’t beat homemade pesto.

I’ve been a campaigner on #debt for many years, as I see it as emblematic of the power dynamics of capitalism. So it’s been interesting to find out in recent years that the early #coop movement was so strongly opposed to personal debt and believed it had a role to play in educating people about it.

I’m doing a bit of reading on the history of #coops. Interesting to see that initially the #RochdalePioneers limited their membership to 250 members to ensure democratic participation. Fits well with #DunbarNumber theory.
