Agreed. They knew but chose to do nothing I suspect because they feared some sort of civil war. I will never forgive them for doing nothing and unleashing this hell on us and the rest of the world.

Maduro was unquestionably a bad actor, but no President has the authority to unilaterally decide to use force to topple a government, thrusting us and the region into uncertainty without justification, a defined end-state or a real plan for preventing the instability that could come next.

Well we actually did elect her. Data is coming to light about that although we knew something wasn’t right about it all immediately. We wouldn’t be where we are if someone would’ve done something at that point.
