New theatre year, started very well at home in Stockholm. Now looking forward to it continuing in London, where, finally: new plays; new adaptations; new work by playwrights I value greatly; a return to some of my favourite venues. The kind of home away from home that theatre, always, provides.

Rupert Goold at the Old Vic is very good news, in the same sense that Rupert Goold at the Almeida was very good news. Which means, however: the Almeida, one of my favourite, very very much so, UK theatres is up for a new AD? This is even more exciting than the NT last season, if I'm honest.
