I tend to overwork my paintings and lose the the detail of the ink and diminish the beauty and magic of the watercolor. I’ll get the hang of it someday. Although I do like the reflections in the second floor windows. #inkandwash #watercolor #painting #art

This was one of my first portraits in watercolor using a kids watercolor set and regular sketchbook paper. I have since upgraded to big kid professional paints and 100% cotton paper, but I do have a fondness for these earlier paintings #watercolor #inkandwash #portrait #watercolorportrait #art
