Right now, Bernie is the most effective and innovative leader to respond to the Trump era. To me this is a horrible development. I mean, great for him (and AOC), but bad for winning anymore elections. Without getting back the ‘normies’ - we’re toast, IMHO.

Perhaps this is a controversial opinion but I think the cost of the Palisades fire may be grossly exaggerated. Yes, it’s 5000 $3.5mil homes, BUT…a ton of them are really $300k houses sitting on $3.2mil of dirt. The land is still there. Josh Altman said it too, 2/3+ of the ‘real’ value did NOT burn.
