Why Trump didn't go to jail I'd never know. And if I were American, I'd be demanding that 'EOs' are curtailed with pre-set conditions. Maybe, such as "Any person convicted of (offence/s) can NOT be pardoned by an EO of the President."

Eg. So the J6 rioters stay where they belong. In jail.

Fair call. There are many smart Americans. The protestors in Chicago, Portland etc. The dude in the frog suit. People not beig violent but 'dancing in the street' (no violence).

Sadly, though, I see a point where either an ICE agent or an American in a 'right to carry' state, loses it and shoots.

IF America ever has elections again (I doubt it) and wants the respect of the world back, ever again, America is going to need a President of the calibre of Nelson Mandela, otherwise America will now remain the laughing stock of the world for decades to come, probably one or two generations.

Let me make it clear. I feel for and acknowledge the decent Americans with more than half a brain cell, but in the USA they are in the minority.

And yes, Barack Obama becoming US President was a shock to me. Never thought I'd see a nation so racist and bigoted elect a Black man as President.

I lived through Black Saturday in Kinglake. In a bushfire, don't rely on a cell phone, internet, none of it. The cell towers may be destroyed.

UHF CB, amateur radio, sat phones and other forms of failsafe communications. Never rely on a cellphone for emergency communications. Never. Ever.
