I've just finished developing all of the post game content!
That means that the game itself is already done!
All of the stages, menus, cutscenes, everything, I already have a full game playable with 13 characters!
Now I just need to add more 52 characters and then the game will be actually complete

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that the main campaign of Digital Heroes 2 has already been finished development! (At least for the alpha build)
Now all that's left are the postgame stuff and the new characters (which will take quite a while to implement everyone)

And obviously, new enemies and bosses. They'll have a little extra flair in each of their fights compared to the first game ;)

Of course, new characters! I can't say for certain how many the game will have at the moment, though. There's already 10 characters and by the final release I want it to have at least 70 more (save me).
And by "character" I mean a full playable evolution line, ok?

New sprites for new and old characters! Every sprite (that could be updated) was updated to their more recent looks. Special thanks to @dragonrod342.bsky.social and the awesome digimon sprite community for keeping their amazing work.

A brand new world! There are now 18+ stages (double the amount of the first game). And in this world, you'll have to chose different paths to encounter different stages and enemies along the way. It's NOT a metroidvania, though. It's more like "branching linear paths", like Digimon evolution itself.
