to be real, my paranoia was extremely unfounded, my mom wouldn't have done anything bad to me for it.

yes! it was in middle school, I was afraid of going home with a singular bad grade in class (it was the first time I got a bad grade ever, actually!) and my friend convinced me to come home with him and his dad.

I of course was caught that night, and my mom came and got me to go home.
