THE CHINA SYNDROME -Ah, the 1970s, a golden era for the cover-up plot. This movie is so paranoid, Michael Douglas is like shouting almost every time he’s on screen. The film has its moments, but I’ll be honest: it’s about as subtle as a leak in a reactor room! Definitely a bit over the top at times.

Put on GODSFORD PARK last night. Maggie Smith’s utter contempt for Hollywood film people is gold! Great large ensemble. The film feels more like "The Rules of the Game" than Agatha Christie. Social hierarchy stuff...

Just found "It’s Florida, Man" on Max. Comedians reenact wild real-life Florida stories, like a guy posts an offer online of $4k per toe to have them cut off and eaten in front of him-it's his fantasy. Another guy agrees, to get cash for a Bassnectar concert. Toe-tally obsessed with this premise.
