Absolutely - it's like a lot of channels just don't see that sort of thing as important any more. Or, at least, not in the same way.

Nice video, that. It's a pity that none of the channels seem to put a great amount of effort into their own identity any more - everything seems so much less special these days. (Though I don't know whether things really are less special or whether they just feel less special the older you get.)

Yeah, I don't think that sort of CGI was ever state of the art, never mind in 1997. It looks rather like a rush to jump on the bandwagon sort of job to me.
