True productivity isn’t about cramming in more tasks; it’s about deciding what to leave out—even when those tasks call to you. This week, I skipped 6 “crucial” items on my list and, for the first time in ages, felt truly in charge.

In Europe, there will be a crash in old housing stock within 10 years.

Modern construction standards will rise.
Old buildings will rot.

There’s a 20-year opportunity for those who know how to build well and play the long game.

Yesterday I napped.
Played Helldivers.
Finished a design sheet.
Sent the docs.
Felt calm.

Turns out, you can be productive *and* feel good.
You just need to stop performing urgency for an audience that doesn’t exist.

My generation doesn't protest much.

We either relocate to better places or become quiet cynics.

We build small shelters of joy and sanity—and help who we feel like helping.

That’s my tribe. Is it yours?

– You nap without guilt
– You design with flow
– You say "no" with ease
– You enjoy things that aren’t efficient

This is my new architecture of life.

We need more people who show up as themselves.

Not to scream louder.
But to show that being thoughtful, vulnerable, strategic, and joyful is still an option.

Architecture needs characters.
The world needs characters.
Authentic ones.

I don't invest in property to get rich.

I do it to anchor my freedom.
To shape my time.
To fund my future self.

Wealth isn’t about numbers. It’s about how much life you get to design.

Today I made a plan, then life said: "nice try".

So I adapted.
Advanced some things.
Let go of others.
Took a nap.
Played with my partner.
Felt good again.

Architecture trains you to dance with constraints. So does life.

A new villa just with decay signs.

A house isn’t a 3D render.

It’s drainage. Materials. Maintenance.

Looks fade.
Systems matter.

Sometimes I send one email...
And unlock 3 new bureaucratic quests.
Each with dependencies.
Each with hidden traps.

Being an architect is like managing a project in a video game where the world itself is buggy.

At 12, I built a ramp for physics class.

The ball was meant to roll for 30s.
Mine went for 3min.

The teacher laughed. I didn’t care.

I wasn’t showing off—I got obsessed with crafting more from less.

Call it overkill. Call it optimization.

That never changed.
