That Murder Feeling (Soul Garden Mystery #1) by Neve Maslakovic ! Super unique premise, moody noir vibes, and tangled feelings galore. what superpower would YOU want for cracking cases?
❄️🔍 #CozyMystery #SpeculativeFiction #BookReview #ThatMurderFeeling
That Murder Feeling by Neve Maslakovic: A Moody, Noir-Touched Fantasy Mystery
A noir-tinged mystery with a wildly inventive premise, That Murder Feeling follows a PI who can literally see emotions blooming around people. While the concept intrigued me, the slow pacing and heavy introspection dulled the suspense. I admired the ambition, but the mystery itself never fully caught fire.

A Very Novel Murder by Ellie Alexander – Cozy Mysteries, Familiar Faces, and Bookstore Sleuths
A Very Novel Murder by Ellie Alexander is a cozy mystery with a bookstore setting, small town secrets, and a newly launched detective agency. While marketed as a series starter, it leans heavily on characters and relationships from a previous series. An engaging mystery with steady pacing, bookish charm, and a case that keeps things interesting, even if it does not fully hook new readers.

ARC review: THE CHATEAU MURDER by Greg Moss. Think French countryside, a crumbling chateau, nervy houseguests, and—yes—the butler is dead. Moody, closed-circle vibes, a solid 3⭐ read, but I’m not sure I’ll follow the series. Would you keep going after book two? #BookReview #CozyMystery
French Chateau Cozy Mystery Review: The Chateau Murder by Greg Mosse – Holiday Murder with a Butler Twist (ARC)
The Chateau Murder is perfect for the moody chateau vibes and the promise of a classic closed-circle mystery and it absolutely delivers on atmosphere. A dead butler, nervy houseguests, and a stormy French holiday give Zoe Pascal plenty to untangle. I liked this one more than book one, but even with its tighter setup and stronger sense of place, I’m still not fully sold on continuing the series. A solid, readable mystery that feels more like a satisfying detour than a new obsession.

Locked room? Check. Octogenarian sleuth? Absolutely. The Murder at World’s End had a brilliant premise, a fascinating duo, and a mystery that almost stuck the landing. My honest ARC review is live, chaos, clues, and caveats included.
Review: The Murder at World’s End by Ross Montgomery | A Cozy Mystery with Secrets, Eccentricity, and Edwardian Quirks
An atmospheric locked-room mystery with an unconventional sleuthing duo, The Murder at World’s End blends historical intrigue, apocalyptic tension, and cozy chaos. While the premise shines, the execution stumbles in places, making this an interesting, if imperfect, start to the Stockingham & Pike series.

One Week to Win the Chocolate Maker surprised me with genuine heart, swoony chemistry, and characters who felt real beneath the indulgence. Sweet, spicy, and perfect as a palate cleanser.
