as much as I get frustrated with the anime pacing, I always end up appreciating the buildup and time given to heavy emotional moments like this one.
I had to pause the ep when Vegapunk sobbed and pulled the lever because I was crying too hard to see 🙈

I'll forever be in awe of the way Oda can recontextualize a string of events we've seen before from a Straw Hat POV and bring me to tears every time. I remember being furious as it was happening, but seeing it through Kuma/Bonney's POVs brought me to tears
