Goal for tonight:

A script editor where users can create segmented scripts to record their voiceover takes from.

Might need to do some design work.

Starting at 11. Hoping to have something presentable in the next 3 hours.

I'm pretty good at setting goals.

Not so great at sticking with them.

Despite getting no sleep and finishing at least 3 hours late, I stuck with it.

And for that I couldn't be happier.

Recordings and their transcriptions can now be saved!

The UI is still rough and there's no error handling or proper db structure yet, but it works and that's what matters.

Just finished authentication. Still need to implement MFA eventually, but it’s fine for now.

Agressively behind on my deadline. I blame my uncooperative terminal, the X auth provider, and most importantly… myself 🥀🥀🥀

Goals for day 2:
- Finishing auth
- Recording storage
- Exporting, if possible 🤞

It’s currently 12:44 AM, and this should be accomplished by 5 at the latest.

Despite my previous post, this account isn't dedicated to self-pity and unfounded optimism.

I'm a web developer, and the goal is to document my journey conceptualizing and building a (hopefully) successful SaaS.

A thread 🧵

Writing this alone from my tiny apartment at 0:53 AM, most likely to an audience of no one ever.

This either marks the beginning of great personal and professional change, or I'm just pointlessly delaying my bedtime yet again.

I hope it's the former.
