Show me the data.
A falling labor supply will do that. Not necessarily a sign of a healthy economy.

Why would global capital go to other G7 bonds if those currencies are seen to have the same degree of risk? Capital is flying off to find assets that are seen likely to hold their value through this cycle of debasement. Global equities, commodities, and monetary metals are the winners.

This agency didn't exist pre 9/11. Perhaps some "DOGEing" is in order.

Unfortunately POTS can be recurrent. Not surprising that he is affected again. My bet is that this will take up most of this season. But, would be good for any team to take a chance on him next season if the price is reasonable ....

Use lessons from the stagflation of 1970s. The best assets seem to be precious metals, energy stocks, residential real estate.

You assume that the R will remain populist and D elitist. Given the D's propensity to copy the R's policies a few election cycles removed from their last defeat, I would be very surprised if the D's don't take over the populist baton.

Transit fares and congestion pricing both help reveal true costs and optimize resource use. #Economics #Politics #UrbanPolicy

Politics rarely hinges on logically consistent economic beliefs.
Take transit: the right opposes free public transit and congestion pricing, while the new left supports both. Yet both stances clash economically.

I follow a bunch of people in science and AI space. Unfortunately they mostly post political content.
Bluesky needs more non-political content or it will suffer a slow and steady decline.

These are sales of new construction, not existing homes. Completely expected as builders have to get rid of inventory due to carrying costs. They will cut their price aggressively. Total home sales (where pre-existing homes form the majority of the marker) on the other hand are down.
